Adquiri um Defender 90 TD4 de 2008. Sou dos Açores e comprei no continente. Quando ele cá chegou detectei um derrame nos diferenciais (nos 2!!! ) e um derrame na caixa de transferencias. Nos diferenciais disse-me o mecânico que é o retentor que fica na peça que liga ao veio de transmissão. O da caixa de transferencias, lavámos e chegamos á conclusão depois de andar uns kms que vem de cima...Não sabemos de onde! Alguem me pode ajudar?!?! Costuma acontecer? Pode ser algum retentor? existe algum kit de reparação? Comprei os retentores para os diferenciais, mas tambem não sei se será dificil montar e se costuma acontecer!

É fácil de resolver? Tenho que tirar pelo menos a caixa de transferencias para meter nova junta certo? A caixa de transferencias é a mesma que o TD5?

Boas, o meu com 7000km já tinha a caixa de transferencia babada mas penso que foi o "bujon" de nivel que
não estava bem apertado...
Agora tem 33000km e já não se nota nada.

Isso pode da junta entre as duas caixas, como já foi dito mas nada como ver. O meu disco tem esse problema, mas só quando der um problema maior é que sai. Agora marca sempre o teu território como um land a Sério!!!
a minha 110 de 04/2010 fez um recall, ainda em garantia acerca desse problema (acho eu que podia ser esse). Fuga da caixa de transferências que contaminava o travão de mão.
Salvo o erro o recall era isto:
"Recall Number: P022 Park Brake Oil Contamination
Recall Notice: P022 Park Brake Oil Contamination
A concern has been identified with the park brake fitted to 2007-2011 Defender vehicles. Any vehicle repaired under Recall Action P019 prior to the revised repair procedure identified in bulletin P019v4 must be recalled and repaired under this campaign. The shoes of the parking brake could be contaminated with oil which has leaked from the rear of the transfer box. Where oil from the transfer box has impregnated the park brake shoes, the park brake may not hold the vehicle when the park brake lever is applied and the vehicle may instantaneously roll. Transfer box oil contamination of the park brake shoes and brake drum leads to a loss of friction between the brake shoe lining and the brake drum friction surface such that the park brake drum when engaged will not hold the vehicle stationary on a gradient.
Action to be taken:
LAND ROVER has taken the decision to recall affected vehicles to remove the output shaft flange, clean the splines, apply Loctite 648 and where necessary and the brake shoes will also be replaced."

no meu serviço temos uma 110 que também foi a este recall e é de 2008, mas isso nota-se porque o travão de mão deixa simplesmente de trabalhar.

O meu travão de mão sempre funcionou bem, mas tinha uma fuga já considerável - já se notava no chão quando estava mais de 24hrs parado .
Isto já foi em 2011 e até agora está bom!

Lavei a caixa bem lavada, verifiquei os niveis e decidi que vai ficar assim. vou estar de olho aberto ao nivel e se for preciso faço intervenção.
